Started by Clarence "Pete" Dalum, in 1955, DUECO is still family-owned and operated more than 50 years later. Pete Dalum led the company until 1976 when his son, Thomas Dalum, became president. The following years resulted in a series of strategic acquisitions, including that of the industry renowned HI-Ranger product line, helped DUECO become a highly respected supplier of aerial devices and digger derricks

As business for DUECO continued to grow, Thomas Dalum felt he could better fulfill customer needs by offering a more substantial rental and leasing programs. The result? The start-up of DUECO’s sister company, Utility Equipment Leasing Corporation. Since its inception in 1967, UELC has grown to become a nationwide industry leader in the rental and leasing of utility equipment

Today, Thomas Dalum continues to work at DUECO and UELC. The family tradition continues with his son, Joe Dalum, who serves as DUECO’s Vice-President, and daughter, Judie Taylor, President of UELC. As we look to the next 50 years, DUECO will continue to grow and work with its partners to provide a quality product and great service.
