Preventative maintenance and annual inspections are required by DUECO and Terex Utilities to protect and increase equipment reliability. These activities should include daily equipment checks, lubrication, and hose and rope checks. By following a preventative maintenance program and scheduling annual inspections, not only will your crew stay safe, but prolong the life of your unit.

DUECO recommends the following Preventative Maintenance procedures:

• Perform required inspections and lubrications.
• Dielectric test unit, as required by manufacturer.
• Check fluid levels daily.
• Complete a daily walk around and test fly the unit before actual operation.

DUECO Annual Inspections include:

• 79-point inspection for aerial lifts, 78-point inspection for digger derricks.
• Includes complete lubrication (hinge pins, bushings, cables, chains).
• System pressure setting and hydraulic overload protection checked and/or adjusted.
• OEM parts are used exclusively.
• Testing can be done at your facility or at a DUECO service center.
• Late model rental equipment is available if major repairs are required.

In addition to standard preventative maintenance and annual inspections, DUECO suggests these rules:

• EVERYTHING on the unit needs to be operational before performing work on a job site.
• Replace any illegible decals and/or labels.
• Immediately replace any damaged, cut, or bulging hoses and ropes.
• Ensure there are no missing guards.
