We feel we have the responsibility to offer high impact operator's training programs. DUECO currently provides bucket truck operator training to our customers:

Level One: Apprentice or In-Service Training
Our apprentice or in-service training is a generalized utility truck presentation, followed by 'hands-on' familiarization and operation of the utility truck. A free in-service from us is offered and highly recommended with the purchase of any new bucket truck or digger derrick. Topics covered are:

• Use of personal protective equipment
• Visual inspections
• Equipment setup
• Lifting loads
• Discussion of what is insulated, isolated, and dielectrically tested and certified
• Explanation of unit warranty, operation manuals, and maintenance and parts manuals
• Unit operation

Level Two: Operator Training
Our Terex Hi-Ranger bucket truck operators training is a classroom and hands-on experience in which your company gets documentation that your operators are properly trained and informed on a Terex Hi-Ranger bucket truck. With factory-trained utility truck instructors, a training session generally lasts four to six hours and is either taught at our facility or your facility. Complete utility truck operator's training includes:

• All features of an apprentice or in-service training.
• A better understanding of the ANSI A 92.2-2010 standard associated with Aerial Equipment.
• Safe practices concerning bucket truck equipment.
• The do’s and don’ts associated with bucket truck equipment.
• Viewing of video concerning safe working habits and practices with utility trucks.
• Hands-on training, including pre-start inspection of a Terex bucket truck and actual operation of the bucket truck.
• A written and proficiency test at end of class to verify utility truck operator training.
